PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

-
Students will play solo, chamber and orchestral music in live masterclasses and sectionals and in virtual performance projects.

-
Students will gain proficiency using open source Audacity recording software and will practice submitting recordings regularly.

-
Students will gain confidence in improvisation. Virtual sessions are ideal for developing improvisational skills and confidence, sometimes it's easier to be brave on mute!

-
Students will build their music portfolio, leaving the program with their final pieces compiled and published.

-
This is just the beginning! The PVS hopes to continue offering a virtual option even when we can return to live music, to better serve the diverse needs of our community.
