ZACK JAKUB

Zack Jakub teaches saxophone, flute, clarinet, and jazz improvisation for all abilities, and beginning drum set and piano. He loves playing just about anything at any time: jazz, pop, rock, reggae, classical, big band, brass band - anything!
With over 20 years of teaching experience in various studio and school settings, his approach to music instruction is to encourage lifelong enjoyment and appreciation of music in his students. He sees music as a never-ending puzzle with all sorts of nooks and crannies to check out and explore.
Zack has performed with Royal Caribbean Cruises, George Kilby and the Road-dogs, Shokazoba, Lostdog, Crackin’ Foxy, and various pit orchestras and other bands. He holds a Bachelor of Music from Keene State College and currently teaches music at Four Rivers Public Charter School. Zack has studied with Lynn Klock, Mario Bernardo, David Jenkins, Craig Sylvern, and the renowned saxophonist Scott Mullett.
Outside of music, Zack enjoys spending time on his farm with his wife and 2 children and many animals big and small! In the winter season, Zack manages the terrain park and snowboarding program at Berkshire East. He also really enjoys tacos.
